🚧 Join the Urban Safety Revolution: Transforming Streets with Data and Collaboration

Vianova's Safer Streets Accelerator

Vianova is excited to announce a new initiative designed to empower cities with the tools, knowledge, and network they need to revolutionize their approach to street safety. This unique program brings together forward-thinking cities, state-of-the-art data analysis, and a collaborative learning environment to create a new paradigm in urban safety management.

Vianova is hosting a first-of-its-kind collaborative accelerator for cities across Europe to more intelligently act on the data already at their disposal- the Safer Streets Accelerator. We’re inviting a small number of cities to work with us to co-develop insights and use our analytical tools to build a new strategy for traffic safety.

As part of the Safer Streets Accelerator, cities will be able to harmonize their data across different sources and answer questions such as:

• Which school zones or parks are seeing the highest rates of collisions?
• What are the hotspots for pedestrian and cyclist risks in our community?
• How has risk changed over time?

Additionally, the Safer Streets Accelerator will include convenings with all members, so that we can build a stronger community of practice between cities all working on similar challenges, but with different strengths and opportunities to grow.

By participating in the Accelerator, your city gains:

• No-cost access to powerful analytics tools without the need for complex GIS systems or expensive consultants.
• Guidance from Vianova’s team of City Solutions advisors and a group of external traffic safety experts
• Peer networking and capacity building

In exchange, you’re providing Vianova with extremely valuable feedback to make sure that our products are meeting the needs of cities trying to achieve vision zero.

Who Should Apply?

Cities or regional governments across Europe are welcome to apply. The ideal city will be between 50,000 and 300,000 residents, but bigger or larger cities are welcome to apply as well. If you're the person or team tasked with strategic prioritization of traffic safety resources and are looking for innovative ways to create safer streets, the Safer Streets Accelerator is designed for you.
